Commercial Business Manager for GrainCo Ltd since Jan’11 – Develop commercial business and build the financial strength of the company. 
• Developed a new 40,00mt grain store investing £4.5m attained £888k worth of grant 
• Managed Input sales division increasing profit by 50%.

Regional Manager for EFFP ltd, Sept 08 to Dec 10, delivering ‘Collaborative Advisory Scheme’ on behalf of One North East.

Dairy Farmers of Britain, Regional Business Manager June 2005 to September 08 My responsibility is to manage 580 farmer member accounts, producing c.350m litres of milk worth £85m throughout the region of Yorkshire, Durham, Northumberland and North Cumbria. Responsibilities can be broken down as follows: 
• Farmer Members – Managed milk supply and membership into DFB through extremely competitive and difficult market conditions. I have delivered my targets and distinctly increased the proportion of DFB’s membership under my management. I also substantially raised the profile of the company in the wider industry. 
• Managed Council Members – The structure of governance within my region consists of 15 District Chairmen, 2 Regional Chairmen. I managed the district and regional chairmen in my region. Company and Team Responsibilities – I sat on both the communication and pricing committees. I have produced DFB’s pricing KPI, I have also undertaken projects for the company and the board including ‘DFB Food Chain Analysis’ using the ‘Lean Method’. 
Consultant for Promar International delivering commercial contracts and projects from Feb 2002 to June 2005. 
• Meat Livestock Commision Benchmarking Project - Turned around failing project, delivered and managed benchmarking project for EBLEX, QMS and HCC. With overall responsibility I managed a national team of data collectors and office staff I delivered the annual reports on time and constantly added value to the results and increase the margin of the project. 
• Diversification Project Management - Establishment of a number of different farm diversified enterprises for Promar clients. This included budget planning, market research, grant application (100% success rate raising almost £1m), investment analysis, finance negotiation and practical implementation. 
• Tendered for, won and delivered various other projects for both commercial and public clients and was one of the companies top earning consultants in 2004/05.
